The following information below are the terms of agreement that will be followed when you want to hire me for a Party or Event or commission me for a Studio Caricature. You must agree to and all the terms listed before I will begin work with you. What’s the best way to contact you?
Because I work primarily with online customers especially for commissions, I prefer e-mail or etsy. This gives both you and me a form of documentation that sometimes doesn’t happen with other methods of contact.
What methods of payment do you take?
I can take Paypal, any type of check or money order for all deposits and studio caricature final payments. For party caricatures, your final payment must be made by money order, cashier’s check or business check during the event. If you need to use Paypal or a personal check, the check must clear before your event and thus the full payment must be made before I work. Credit cards can be taken on site but there is a processing fee.
My event is in just a few days. Can I still book you for party caricatures?
It depends on my schedule. Contact me with the date, time and location of your event and I’ll see if I can fit you in!
I have to have the studio caricature completed very soon. Is it still possible to commission you for it?
A general rule of thumb is that, if you’re needing the commission sooner than 4 - 6 weeks from payment, a rush fee will be involved. However, contact me with the due date and I’ll see what I can do!
I’m not sure if I need to order a studio caricature or if it’d be better to book you for a party. Which should I do?
Party caricatures are quick, entertaining sketches of guests. Studio caricatures are more detailed, with a much closer look at likeness and personality. For singles, couples and families, I highly suggestion sticking with a studio caricature. If you’re looking at a very large group, the decision is up to you. Keep in mind that party caricatures require a minimum of 2 hours for a booking. Even if I finish ahead of time, the full payment for the time is required
I’m looking for something that’s not on your Services page or in your gallery. Can you do it?
My specialty lies in caricatures. While I enjoy drawing other things in my spare time, I am unable to take additional non-caricature projects due to my schedule. Thank you for your consideration, though!
What do you need to do a studio caricature? Do I need to be there when you draw it?
Studio caricature commissions do not require any in-person visits. All I need are three clear photos of you, or your intended’s, face. I prefer one profile, one 3/4 ths and one straight-on view to give me a variety of options for best capturing your likeness. Please make sure images are clear. Blurry photos or image with parts of the face and head cut off will not work.
