I am so thankful that God has blessed me so much. I found that if I tried to do something on my own, without God, I was not successful. Building a relationship with Him has helped so much. I am happy to see that He is working in your life as well :)

Yeah, freelancing has it's negatives. I find it works better as a balance to self-publishing/personal projects than as a catch-all.
Whether it's a job or freelancing, clients will drain all your creative energy if you're not careful.

I haven't had it long. I pretty much exchange a cell phone bill for the studio space but it is very small.

3 people might fit in there on a good day. And the owners of the building would never allow me to live in it. I started looking into a roommate and i am hoping that I can find something good and move.

Actually Laurghita, I started renting a studio outside my moms house for that very reason. I was finding that anytime I was at home, even if I was working, she was constantly distracting me from work and it was effecting my ability to complete projects. I figured if I worked outside the house it would be better plus I could have some time away like if I was going to a job everyday since I was not finding any work.

To her it was like I was just sitting around the house doing nothing or as if the work I was trying to do wasn't important enough to let me do it uninterrupted.

Martin Jackson, I try to talk to her about what it is I am trying to accomplish while living here and she listens to it for maybe 1 or 2 days and then goes right back to acting the same way most of the time. I have told her on more than one occasion that I am working as hard as I can to get myself stable and she knows that is why I am staying here. Yet she still interferes with my work and we still get into arguments over trivial petty stuff cause she has some need to try and run my life for me.

I pretty much feel like both Samax and Maddpenciler are right about the whole situation and it come down to me just needing to go ahead and move out even if things get really bad and I end up not being sure I can pay my rent or other bills.

I feel like the longer I stay the worse things will get and even if only for my own peace of mind I need to find a way out of this situation.

Not necessary to leave the house right now, just get a party job exactly on the time when your mom is at home. Reduce the contact time to a bearable length.
